He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawrence and Elizabeth Marie Gay Winslow; his sister Linda W. Asbell; and his nephew Thomas Story. He is survived by: his siblings, Joy W. Pritchard (David) of Elizabeth City and Richard L. Winslow (LaRue) of Hertford; and his brother-in-law Charles Asbell of Greenville.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home (1125 Harvey Point Rd, Hertford, NC 27944). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chappell Hill Baptist Church (892 County Line Rd, Tyner, NC 27980).
