He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Henry and Callie Lilly Dail; his former wives, Barbara Ward Dail and Darlene Harrell Dail; and his siblings, Dorothy Dail, Nathan and Amos Dail.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Dail (Rebecca) of Tyner, Kim Dail of Richmond, VA and Jackie Dail Creamer (Kerry) of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings, Mary Ann Carter of Hertford, Caroline Trueblood of Hertford, Jody Dail of Belvidere, Carlton Dail of Edenton and Gene Dail of Hertford; his grandchildren, Casey Priest (Shane), Blake Dail and Olivia Creamer; and his former wife Rhonda Bass Dail. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel (1125 Harvey Point Rd, Hertford, NC 27944). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
