He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Clifton Britt and Helen Gray Davenport Britt; and his sons, Brian and Wade Britt. He is survived by: his wife Sue Barnette Britt; his daughters, Jacqueline Byrum (Steve) of Merry Hill, Amy Long (Dwayne) of Edenton and Hayley Clifton (Paul) of Edenton; his brothers, Robert "Bob" Britt (Patsy) of Edenton and Richard Britt (Sandra) of Bowie, TX; his grandchildren, Tanner (Courtney), Lukas, Drake (Carlee), Sam, Iver Jack and Megan; and his great grandchild Syler.
