With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Noah Jordan Sr. of Tyner, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Edward and Mattie Ethel Ward Jordan; his brothers, McIhrie of Forrest, L. B., Rudolph and Graydon Jordan; and his wife Vivian Wiggins Jordan.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Small (John) of Greensboro, Joan Vaccaro (Rodney) of Agoura Hills, CA, Gene Jordan (Patricia) of Tyner, Bill Jordan (Melanie) of Tyner and Bob Jordan (Jill) of Tyner; his grandchildren, John Small, Jr. (Dusti) of Okeechobee, FL, Mary Small (Brandon Wu) of Bethesda, MD, Margaret Hinnant (Scott) of Kenly, Ruth Borgmann (Matt) of Greensboro, Olivia Vaccaro of Philadelphia, PA, Isabella Vaccaro of Portland, OR, Caroline Jordan (Ed Conrad) of Albuquerque, NM, Grace Jordan, Noah Jordan of Raleigh, Katherine Collins (Tyler) of Pembroke, Heath Jordan (Elizabeth) of Hobbsville, Landon Jordan (Jenna) of Kernersville and Meredith Meekins (Hunter) of Manteo; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Everett, Vivian, Violet Small, Amaya, Talia Wu, Henry, Bailey, Kelsey Hinnant, Heidi, Vivienne Collins, Clara Gray Jordan, Silas, Charlie, Ridge Jordan, Parrish, Amelia and Riggs Meekins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Ballard's Bridge Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 3025 Virginia Road, or to the Ryland Ruritan Club, in care of Steve Knight, 455-B Wingfield Road, both in Tyner, NC 27980.
