He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. Furgerson and Minnie Ruth Lawson Furgerson; his children, Pam Koch, William C. Furgerson, Jr. and Keith Sisk; and his sisters, Geneva Campbell and Sarah Dennis.
He is survived by: his aunt Leona Lawson; his uncle Edgar Vernon Furgerson; his wife Ruth Loftis Furgerson; and his children, Susan Baugh of Fort Payne, AL, Paula Lawson of Flat Rock, AL, Nancy Ellers (Joey) of Fort Payne, Tammy Furgerson (Hubert Hedgepeth) of Tyner and Dean Sisk (Marsha) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
