She is survived by: her parent Sarah Bunch Chappell; her spouse McCoy Phthisic; her son Robert McCoy Phthisic (Linda); her son-in-law Paul H. "Bobby" Ward, Jr. of Tyner; her grandchildren, Scott Phthisic (Karen) and Paul Ward, III; her wife Pam; her sister-in-law Rita Chappell of Hobbsville; and also, Tim Phthisic (Cindy) and Leah Ward.
