Betsy James Benton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsy James Benton of Tyner, North Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Leonard James and Warnie Novella Ross James; her husband William David Ward; and her brothers, J. L. and Burton James.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Spence (Larry) of Tyner and Sarah Ward Hamilton of Clayton; and her brother Bob James of San Jose, CA. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
