It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Monk of Turkey, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gracie Morrisey and Gliston Morrisey; her husband Jerome Monk; her children, Corresha Steadwell of Greensboro, Antonio Morrisey of Warsaw, O'Sheena Monk of Turkey and Latesha James of Faison; her grandchildren, Tyree Paton, Elijah Morrisey, D'Andrea Morrisey, Marqell Fryar and Ah'mani Davis; and her siblings, Regina Thomas (Gliston "Vega" Morrisey) of Goldsboro, Bridgette Barden of Warsaw and Godsister (Iris Carter).
