She is survived by: her children, Obie Powell, Jr. of Maryland, James Lewis Powell of Turkey, NC, Linda Davis of Roseboro, NC, Priscilla Newkirk of Clinton, NC and Martha Becton of Turkey, NC. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
