She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Vaughn and Carrie Briggs Fisher; and her siblings, Nina Mae Reece, Eileen Griffin, Iva Greene, Ralph of Fred, V. C. and Howard Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Claude Griffin; her children, Lana Grindstaff, Deana Weaver (Randy), Anthony Griffin (Jennifer) and Matthew Griffin (Renee); and her sister Grace Buckner. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
