Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stella Faye Coggins Parker of Tuckasegee, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 93, on August 27, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Coggins and Nell Wilkes Coggins; her husband Samuel D. Parker; and her siblings, Harry Lee, Monroe, Ruby Coggins, Ruth Wilson and Katherine Potts.

She is survived by: her half-sister Kim Poteet of Cullowhee; her daughters, Sharon Painter (Ronnie) of Tuckasegee and Janice Gilliland (Lee) of Vass, NC; her grandson Sam Painter (Vanessa) of Boone, NC; and her daughters, Laura Brown (Avery) of Sylva and Leslie Lynette (Chris) of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
