She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Heffner and Ethel Heffner; and her son-in-law Eddie Ensley. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Chastain; her children, Ella Ensley and Robert Chastain (Valerie); her granddaughter Courtney Ensley (Lauren Cress); her great grandchild Keanu Jonas Ammons; and her siblings, Kenneth Heffner, Margaret Steele (Clyde) and Betty Middleton (Ralph). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Norma's memory to Cherokee Bible Church, PO Box 6, Cherokee, NC 28719.
