She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Watson and Fern Watson; her siblings, Sam Watson and Helen Dillard; and also Tracy Hooper.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Hooper; and her children, Sandra Hooper (Julie) of Candler, Mike Hooper (Mona) of Tuckasegee and Mark Hooper of Sylva. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 the family will have a private graveside service with a memorial service held at a later date.
