He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Woodrow Bridges and Sarah Jean Feagan; his sons, Rusty and Mitchell; and his brother Bobby Lee Bridges.
He is survived by: his brother James Edward Bridges (Shirley); his granddaughter Shanna Bridges; his nephews, Brian Bridges, Brett Bridges (Kelly) and Blake Bridges (Vickie); and his aunt Dorothy York.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Green Creek First Baptist Church (2382 Coxe Rd, Tryon, NC 28782).
