He is survived by: his children, Vernon Dusenbury III (Trey), Renae Dusenbury Waldman (Ethan) of Tryon, NC, Generation and Trey; his wife Raye Ella Dusenbury of Tryon; his sister Diane Dusenbury Skillman of Hendersonville, NC.; and his grandchildren, Tanner, Georgia, Conner, Sydney, Ella and Charley.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Tryon Scholarship Fund or Capital Fund.
