She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hinsdale and Edna Mae Prince Barnette; and her spouse Thomas Yates McDowell. She is survived by: her children, Thomas McDowell (Nancy) and Peggy McEachern. She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
