She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Ellis Laughter and Janie Edwards Laughter; and her siblings, Wylie Laughter, Georgia Guice, Ralph Laughter, Bessie Parris, Myrtle Stamey, Lois Case, Fred Laughter, Jessie Newman and Mary Jo Kelly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
