It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maureen Zuschlag of Tryon, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 82, on February 3, 2021. She is survived by: her children, Alan Zuschlag (Keith Miller), Geoffrey Zuschlag (Sandy), Wayne Zuschlag (Audrey), Eric Zuschlag (Beth), Ray Zuschlag (Shelley) and Jennifer Arnold (Gunter); and her siblings, Helen Coleman, Roy Hopkins and Elizabeth Coon. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
She also enjoyed painting with her friends, and maintained these connections despite the COVID pandemic and cancer diagnosis.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Tryon Arts and Crafts School would be much appreciated by the school and its students.
