He is survived by: his wife Connie "Coco" Knirk; his children, John Knirk, Jeffrey Knirk (Vickie), Ken Knirk (Debbie), David Knirk and Becky Geiger (Danny); his stepchildren, Dawn Nelson (Jim), Scott Westervelt, Shawn Westervelt, Kirk Westervelt (Lorena) and Kim Nelson (Richard); and his siblings, Jeannie and Joe.
