He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike A. Ferrell and Corby Eliose Paynter Ferrell; and his brothers, Mitchell Edwin Ferrell, Donald Eugene Ferrell and Billy Ray Ferrell.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Caudle Ferrell; his sons, Jerry Lee "Jay" Ferrell, Jr. (Angie) of Louisa and Michael William Ferrell of Raleigh; the mother of his children Alma Gene Landolf Ferrell; his stepson Charles Dressler (Robin); and his brothers, Kenneth Ferrell (Deloris) of Beaver and Larry Ferrell (Sandra) of Hurt, Virginia.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McFarland Funeral Chapel (54 McFarland Dr, Tryon, NC 28782).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
