He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence Gray Newman and Edna Lorie Newman of Tryon; his wife Jennifer Newman; his son Grey Breckenridge Newman; his siblings, John Newman (Joyce) of Columbus, James Newman (Debbie) of Spartanburg, Herschel Newman (Susan) of Hendersonville, Jane Foster (Joe) of Tryon, Jenelle Satterfield of Columbus and Brenda Covil (Mark) of Columbus; and his stepchildren, Wrenn Hardin and Isabele Hardin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
