He was predeceased by: his parents, Clannie Halford Bishop, Sr. of Saluda, NC. and Lila Hipp Bishop of Saluda, NC.; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Betty Bishop Carr, Rosemary Bishop DeVine, Jerry Bishop and Stanley Bishop.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Bishop Gaither (Larry); his grandson James Gaither of Charlotte, NC; his daughter Julie Bishop Daniel (Richard); his grandsons, Eric and Scott of Raleigh, NC; his sister Carolyn Hayes (Ken) of Boiling Springs, SC; and also, Terry Bishop of Columbus, NC and Ray Klovach of Mill Spring, NC..
The family will have a private service, due to COVID-19, in the new year.
