He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bill and Ina Mae Benson Kuykendall; and his sister Peggy McSwain. He is survived by: his wife Clara Mae Stone; his daughter Crystal Gayle Kuykendall Ponder (Bobby); his grandchildren, Aarron McAbee (April) of Mill Spring, Josh Ponder Mill Spring (Kasey) and Ashley Ponder of Mill Spring, NC; his great grandchildren, Chandler, Coalden, Waylon, Anzleigh, Kylie, Amberly, Ripp, Jaleel and Jazani; and his brothers, Allen Kuykendall (Linda) and Thurman Kuykendall (Ann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
