Carl Edney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2025, at the age of 92, Carl Edney (Tryon, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl Edney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marvel Edney and Helen Caroline Morton Edney; and his wife Barbara Ruth Mills Edney. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Steve Edney (Venecia) of Polk County, NC, Dr. Richard Edney (Dina) of Henderson County, NC, Tony Edney of Polk County, NC and Dr. Julie Tullock (Tim) of Henderson County, NC; his grandchildren, Lacy, Starla, Elizabeth, Zachary, Chad, McKenzie and Madeleine; and his siblings, Carroll Edney (Boonie), Douglas Edney, Shirley Ann Edney Harris and Bonnie Edney Pendleton. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tryon Sda Church (2820 Lynn Rd, Tryon, NC 28782). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
