She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd O. Blackwell and Celia Whiteside Blackwell of Green Creek, NC.; her son Ricky Horne; her brothers, Billy Blackwell and Jerry Blackwell; and her granddaughter Jennifer Nodine.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Culbreth of Landrum, SC, Teressa Collins of Spartanburg, SC, Roger Horne of Green Creek, NC and Steve Horne of Green Creek, NC; and her siblings, Brenda High of Bluffton, SC, Doris McEntire (Choya) of Green Creek, NC and David Blackwell (Janice) of Green Creek, NC.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Green Creek First Baptist Church, 534 Coxe Road, Columbus, NC 28722.
