It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Patterson Watkins of Tryon, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Watkins and Nada Scarborough Watkins; and his grandson Johnathan Watkins. He is survived by: his children, Levona Watkins of Mill Spring, Carmel Watkins of Mill Spring, Dawn Jordan, Jeff Watkins and Deanna Drury; and his grandchildren, Danielle Lawter of Sunny View, Triston Watkins of Mill Spring, Daniel Watkins of Mill Spring, Trinity Watkins of Mill Spring, Luke Jordan, Josh Jordan, Tiffany Pruitte, Chance Watkins and Emily Drury.
Masks are suggested for everyone's safety.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Arnold's name/memory be given to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 374 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
