With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Dean Smith of Troy, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 33. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Freddie Dean Smith of Rockingham and Vonda Holmes Johnson; his daughter Autumn Smith of Hickory; his brothers, Johnathan Bratcher of Atlanta, GA, Brandon Lee Bratcher of Abbeville, SC and Andrew Fred Smith of Southern Pines; his stepbrother Johnathan Scott Johnson of Henderson, NC; his stepfather John Harvey Johnson; and his grandparents, Jeff and Carolyn Britt of Richlands, NC..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the education fund at First Bank for his daughter, Autumn Emily Smith.
