She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dewey Lassiter and Villie Kellis Lassiter; her daughter Tammy Annette Cassidy; her brothers, Dan "Danny Boy" Lassiter and Ricky Lassiter; her husband Darrell Freeman; her sons, Timothy Lee Freeman, William Darrell Freeman, Jr. of Troy and Robert Wayne Freeman of Troy; and her siblings, Phillip Lassiter of Troy, Judy Smith of Wilmington and Debbie Lassiter of Troy. She was also cherished by 17 Grandchildren; 12 Great-grandchildren.
