He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Worth and Grace Moore Thayer; and his brother Kenneth Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Ussery Thayer; his son Ron Thayer (Lori) of Troy; his grandsons, Nathan and Grant Thayer; and his pet Jax.
