He is survived by: his mother Louise Gainey Bennett; his daughter Bonita Simmons Adams; his granddaughter Taliyah Simmons of Charlotte; and his siblings, Bridgette Bennett, Travis Gainey of Troy, Charles Gerald (Jamie) of Haverhill, MA, Charlene Bennett of Biscoe and Tamika Bennett. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, and his friend.
