He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Pope and Lena Foust Pope; and his brother James Pope of Winston Salem. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Pope; his brothers, Larry Pope (Gay) of Denton and Harold (Susie Pope) of Troy; his children, Karen Pope Binns of Troy and Steve Pope; his stepsons, Ritchie Stuart (Jessica) of Troy and Mark Stuart (Shelly) of Woodrun; and his grandchildren, Damon, Delaina Binns, Trenton Kern, McKenzie, Katie Stuart, Brendon Stuart, Riley Stuart and Gavin Johnson.
