It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Matthew Persin of Troy, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Persin and Mary Kohalisky Persin. He is survived by: his wife Rose Goings Persin; his children, Richard Alan Persin (Adriana) of Troy, Laure Bowen of Missouri and Andrea Brunk (Charlie) of Randleman; and his grandchildren, Alan Persin, Matthew Persin, Rebekah Ann Picard, Sara Ann Seabolt, Weston Bowen, Joseph Bowen and Elizabeth Bowen.
