He was predeceased by: his former wife Katherine Smith Morris; and his sister Billie Rose Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lois Harris; his daughter Heather M. Jones (John) of Eldorado; his brother Jack Morris (Louise) of Eldorado; his parents-in-law, Nelson Smith of Mt. Gilead and Dortha Cave of Troy; and his stepson Tad Russell (Claudette) of Troy. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and sisters and brothers-in-law.
