He was predeceased by: his father Lacy Spencer Morton; and his sister Vickie Lowder. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Ann Lang Morton; his children, Rebecca Morton and Michael Lamonds of Troy; his grandson Colton Lamonds of Troy; and his siblings, Roxanne Carter of Apex, Donna Gay Beane of Biscoe, Jennifer Thompson of Troy and Chris Morton of Troy.
