She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Deberry and Pat Smith Deberry; her husband Alvin James Lassiter; and her siblings, Vernon "Pig" Deberry, Wesley Deberry, Lillian Mathis and Edna Burrow.

She is survived by: her sons, Perry Lassiter of Troy, Jerry Lassiter of Troy and Jeff Lassiter of Mt. Gilead. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
