She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mark Boone Jr. and Mary Emma White; and her husband Jesse. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Clara Capel, Julie Capel Williams (Steve Williams) and Sarah Kea Capel; and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Warren Capel. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service (620 Albemarle Rd, Troy, NC 27371). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (239 N Russell St, Troy, NC 27371).
