It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jocelyn Victoria Weddington of Troy, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Suzanne Frey Yoder. She is survived by: her father Lauren Yoder of Black Mountain, NC; her parent-in-law Sydney; her brother Reinald Yoder (Christine) of Decatur; her daughters, Samantha Allen (Bradley) of Conover, NC and Abby Weddington of Mooresville, NC; and her grandchildren, Raegan Elizabeth Bennett, Makaela Jade Bennett, Vance Elijah Allen and Braeley Elisia Allen.
In lieu of flowers, but in loving memory and in honor of Jocelyn, she invites contributions to the Hospitality House of Charlotte (hospitalityhouseofcharlotte.org), for they make it possible for families who live at a distance to stay near a loved one who is undergoing medical treatment.
