We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2025, at the age of 55, Jimmy Wayne Bowen Jr. of Troy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jimmy Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Bowen Sr. and Dorothy Ann Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Angie Bowen; his son Samuel Fowler III (Amanda); his grandson Samuel Fowler IV; and his sister Lena (Alvin). He is also survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle (522 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
