He is survived by: his wife Lynn Cranford Bowman; his children, Scotty Lee Bowman of Woodrun and Lisa Gail High of Asheboro; his stepchildren, Christopher Justin Davis of Biscoe, James Burgess of Burgaw and Christy Nichole Detter of Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Kenneth Edgar Bowman of Burlington, Kathy Ann Brooks (Ronnie) of Bennett, Susie Martin (Billy) of Southport, Violet Williams of Virginia and Mary Kuehne of Carthage. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
