He is survived by: his children, Jerry "J. J.", Sandra M. Brown of Cary and Shannon Helms of Carolina Beach; his siblings, Wilma Fiest of Troy and Gary Moore of Seagrove; his grandchildren, Penny Moore, Wendy Mauney, Rikki Dunn, Keri Escabar, Vivian Brown, Kenley Moore, Kristen Helms, Taylor Helms, Trace Helms, Sapphire Wilson, Jade Wilson, Cody Piar, Amy Piar, Stephanie Piar, Trey Cooper, Katelyn Cooper and Alexis Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Wilson, Kyla Lamonds, Kaitlyn Mauney, Luke Mauney, Parker Dunn, Melanie Moore and Rosa Lee Escabar.
