He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Luther and Walser Mae Dennis Luther. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burris Luther; his brothers, Don Luther (Susan) of Troy and Dennis Luther (Gail) of Troy; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Shepherd of Troy and Linda Hunt of Troy.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service (620 Albemarle Rd, Troy, NC 27371). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (822 NC-109, Troy, NC 27371). A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Mt. Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery.
