He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Ivey and Golden Alice Sanders Callicutt; and his brothers, John Ivey Callicutt and Jerry Lee Callicutt. He is survived by: his wife Laney Morgan Callicutt; his children, Alice Elizabeth Callicutt Dunn of Black Ankle, James Ivey Callicutt (Kim) of Troy and Terry Lynn Callicutt (Joanna) of Troy; and his siblings, Joseph Callicutt of Love Joy and Patsy Brooks of Love Joy. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church (1100 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Troy, NC 27371). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery (1100 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Troy, NC 27371).
