He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Silas Springer and Emma Burgess Springer; his wife Bonnie Mullinix Springer; his children, Amanda Springer Hathcock (Jeff), Daniel Thomas Springer (Charlotte) and Kelley Springer Adams (David); his grandchildren, Candice Hathcock Stone (Shane), Jonathan Hathcock and Garrett; his great grandchild Mason Curenton; his sister-in-law Geraldine Brown Springer; and his siblings, James Horace Springer and Jane Springer Haynie (Jim).
Memorials may be made to Stony Hill UMC, Singing Americans of Stanly County, Boy Scout Troop No. 82, Community Homecare and Hospice of Troy, or to charity of donor's choice.
