He was predeceased by: his father William Vance Hatley. He is survived by: his mother Henrietta Thompson Mabry; his wife Wendy Bolin Hatley; his children, Joshua Hatley (Victoria) of Mooresville and Tiffany Renae Hatley; and his siblings, Shirley Lefler (C. W.) of Albemarle, Craig Hatley (Kelly) of Albemarle and Richard Biggers of Albemarle.
