He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Rufus and Cora Greene Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hudson Kearns; his children, Mickey Kearns of Wadeville and Sherry Kearns Coyle of Mt. Gilead; his grandchildren, Kyanna Powell, Shannon Coyle, Brittney Kearns Sheffield and Devin Coyle; and his great grandchildren, Trystan Powell and Miles Sheffield.
