He is survived by: his parent Lula Mae Lovette Herring; his wife Diana Lynn Mullins Herring; his sons, Johnathan Ray Herring (Starra) of Oakboro, Andy Wayne Herring (Amanda) of Mt. Pleasant and Jonathan Willie Ray Stidham (Candace) of Morganton; his brothers, Steve Edward Herring (Kimberly) and Mark Allen Herring (Susan) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Adam, Brianna, Caylin and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Paislee and Max.
