He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Wayne Almond of Albemarle, NC, Jason Edward Almond (Ellen) of Norwood, NC and Jarrod James Almond (Beverly) of Albemarle, NC; his stepdaughters, Carmen Simpson and Courtney Sneed (Matthew); his grandchildren, David, Luke, Abigail, JoyAnna, Joshua, Carson, Eston, MacKenzie and Ella Grace; and his siblings, Reggie Almond, Jimmy Almond, Kathryn Yow and Alene Hinson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle (522 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (819 Mt Carmel Church Rd, Troy, NC 27371).
