He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kearns and Thelma Mullinix Kearns; and his brother James M. Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Kearns; his son Kevin Kearns (Jeannie) of Troy; his brother Don Kearns (Pat) of Troy; his sister-in-law Lynda Kearns of Denton; and his grandsons, Charlie, Cayden and Collin. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Love Joy Church (1137 Substation Rd, Troy, NC 27371). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Love Joy Church Cemetery (1137 Substation Rd, Troy, NC 27371).
