She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Odell and Mary Blanch Hudson Cagle; her husband Deldon Strider; her daughters, Daphane Ann Strider and Barbara Lynndale Strider Hunsucker; and her grandson Dustin Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Batten (David) of Asheboro, Ruth Strider of Troy, Tina Simmons (Remus) of Troy, Rhonda Freeman (Griffin) of Asheboro, Hoyt Strider (Polly) of Star and Hector Strider (Donna) of Troy; her siblings, Danny Cagle, Don Cagle, Jeff Cagle and Rachell Hill; and her sister-in-law Carrie Cox. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and forty-six great-grandchildren.
