With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Thompson of Troy, North Carolina, born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zell Walen and Lucy Williams Thompson; and his sisters, Mozelle Walters and Shirley Jones. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Anne Haywood Thompson; his daughter Jennifer Lynn Thompson Lineberry of Troy; his grandsons, James Walen Lineberry and Weston Lee Lineberry; and his sister Pat Kearns (Don) of Troy.
